Quinn grew up in the Bay Area where he was first exposed to physical therapy over 30 years ago. Following his interests in anatomy and biomechanics, Quinn graduated with high honors from California State University, Hayward in 1991 with his BS in Athletic Training/Clinical Exercise. He received the "Outstanding Student of the Year Award" simultaneously and was accepted into the physical therapy program at California State University, Northridge. Again receiving high honors, he graduated in 1993 with his post-graduate degree in Physical Therapy.
He is licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of California (PT) and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Orthopedic Section since 1991.
He joined Paul Swanson in 2001 and became a partner of Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy in 2005. Paul retired in 2013.
Quinn received board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2007 by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He specializes in orthopedic manual therapy and orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation.
An advocate of continuing education, Quinn has taken numerous short- and long-term post-graduate courses, focusing on injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, sports-specific training, and advanced manual therapy treatment for the spine and extremities. He is a clinical instructor, mentoring graduate students during clinical internships and educating high school students in the profession of physical therapy. Quinn is also an assistant instructor educating licensed physical therapists in orthopedic manual physical therapy and clinical exercises through long-term post-graduate coursework.
As an endurance athlete, Quinn has completed several marathons and numerous triathlons (including four Ironman -distance triathlons and three 1/2-Ironman triathlons).
Heavily involved in youth athletics, Quinn has involved himself in the community as a Roseville Girl's Softball Coach, a Roseville Youth Soccer Club (RYSC) Coach, and a Roseville Indoor Soccer Coach.
He has provided strength and conditioning training to RYSC Girl's Select Soccer since 2005, Woodcreek High School Soccer Program since 2011, and served as the Injury Education Program Coordinator for Placer United Soccer Club in 2008-2010. Quinn joined the Galaxy Blues in 2013, and provided conditioning and injury prevention strategies for a number of teams.
He spends time with his wife and two adult children playing, traveling, and supporting all of their endeavors and celebrating all of their achievements.

From the physical therapy aides to our front office staff, Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy has assembled a team of caring and professional individuals, dedicated to helping you attain your goals. Working directly with your physical therapist, our physical therapy aides will assist you in your exercise program and help you in any other way needed.
Each of our physical therapy aides possess a Bachelor's degree or professional certification (or are currently in the process of achieving this goal), and have dedicated themselves to the healthcare profession. We are proud of our entire staff and the help they consistently provide.
Linda McArthur, BA

Linda graduated from UC Berkeley in 1991 as a psychology major. She quickly began working in a management setting, and fine-tuned her analytical and organizational skills.
She worked for several years, putting Quinn through graduate school, until the birth of their second child.
Linda recently became the Front Office Manager for Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy, in addition to balancing her time with family and friends. Linda also serves as our Worker's Compensation Insurance AuthorizationCoordinator. She works with insurance adjustors, physicians, and medical coordinators to expedite all claims, and help our patients receive care in a timely manner.

Dr. Madelynn Spalding joined Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy in 2018 and is our Aquatic Program Director.
Maddie grew up in Walnut Creek, CA. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA where she played D.1 volleyball for one year before dedicating herself to being a full time student. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree at Pacific as well.
Maddie’s interests are orthopedic-based, with an emphasis in sports medicine. Her clinical rotations were completed at Kaiser Permanente Sports Medicine in Elk Grove and Kaiser Permanente Acute Care in Modesto. It was her last clinical with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Sports Medicine for Young Athletes in Walnut Creek, CA where she fell in love with working with the pediatric sports medicine population.
Maddie is eager to learn more and help with the local community. She lead the Healthy Children Program at Pacific where she organized educational school visits to local elementary and middle schools to promote physical activity and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She was then able to take that program to Nairobi, Kenya, where she volunteered her time at local orphanages and taught children about the importance of physical fitness and warming up before activities.
Outside of work, Maddie loves to spend time with her husband, family, friends and especially her rescue dog Klay. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she is an avid SF Giants, Golden State Warriors, and SF 49ers sports fan. She loves to travel, scuba dive, wakesurf and has an interest in viticulture.
Dr. Sarah Harmon joined SMPT in 2017.
Sarah grew up in the Central Coast area of Santa Maria, California and played competitive travel softball throughout high school. This is where her love for athletics and rehabilitation began. Sarah graduated from San Diego State University in 2011 with a Bachelor in Science degree majoring in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. She went on to received a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine For Health Sciences San Marcos campus April 2015.
She has experience with working with orthopedic, pediatrics, neurological, and TMJ conditions. Her passion is working with athletes in prevention of injuries. Sarah utilizes advanced manual therapy techniques, MFR, therapeutic exercises, and other various methods from her experiences and additional coursework to help improve overall functional mobility in her patients. She wants to further her knowledge by taking continuing education courses with hands-on training for TMJ, Graston, ASTYM, and other various manual courses.
She enjoys working in an outpatient orthopedic setting and working with patient s of all ages. Sarah is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Sarah recently relocated from Murrieta, California to the Rocklin area with her husband to be closer to family. She enjoys hiking, wakeboarding, and spending time with her two dogs Kato and Jade.
Greg Rice, PT
Greg has worked with SMPT for over 15 years as a staff PT and as needed for temporary staffing coverage.
Greg has over 20 years of outpatient orthopedic experience. He was one of only 24 students nationwide accepted into the International P.T. Program at the Hogeschool Enschede, through the University of Twente, The Netherlands, from where he graduated with high honors in 1997.
His background for diagnostic and treatment plan formation is
based in Maitland and Mulligan evaluation and treatment philosophies. Greg has extensive training and experience in treating all orthopedic conditions. He is especially skilled in spinal care.
Greg, his wife, and their four children live along the river in Fair
Oaks Village where they enjoy an active but simple lifestyle.
Dr. Kenia Saldana joined Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy in 2019.
Kenia grew up in Salinas, California. She attended California State University, Sacramento, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Kinesiology in 2016. She worked for Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy prior to applying to PT school.
She went on to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at California State University, Sacramento and graduated in July 2019. During her time at California State University, Sacramento, she volunteered for multiple pro bono clinics serving pediatric, amputee, neurological, and orthopedic populations. She completed her clinical rotations at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (inpatient rehab unit), Mercy San Juan Dignity Hospital (acute care), and finished with a focused clinical experience at Terrapin Physical Therapy (orthopedic outpatient clinic).
At Terrapin, she led “Walk with A Doc” lectures to increase knowledge of health and wellness for the Salinas/Monterey community. She also led aquatic therapy sessions for Hispanic women with limited resources and access to health care. Kenia spent time volunteering for academic research studies and at various community outreach events including a Health Fair for Spanish-speaking immigrant workers in Dixon, California.
During her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about being involved with the community and improving lives through movement and education. Kenia is committed to lifelong learning to achieve clinical excellence by educating and providing necessary resources to maximize patient-centered care.

Dr. Taylor DeSilva joined Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy in 2020.
Taylor is from the Bay Area and grew up in Sunnyvale, California. She began playing competitive softball at the age of nine with the hopes of someday playing at the collegiate level. After a successful four years in high school, she was recruited to play Division 1 softball at University of the Pacific before transferring and completing her collegiate softball career at California State University Bakersfield. Taylor graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Kinesiology from CSU Bakersfield in 2015. Prior to PT school, Taylor worked as a PT aide in Sunnyvale for an outpatient orthopedic practice.
She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from California State University Sacramento and graduated in July 2019. During her time at CSUS, Taylor participated in multiple pro bono clinics where she treated patients of all kinds including orthopedic, neurologic, amputee and pediatric populations. Taylor was also involved with several elective courses where she furthered her knowledge of geriatric health and wellness, children with developmental delay and patients with hip osteoarthritis. She completed her clinical rotations at South Bay Sports and Preventative Medicine (outpatient orthopedic clinic), Easter Seals (outpatient pediatric) and Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara (acute care).
Given Taylor’s experience with weight lifting throughout college, she went on to take her certification test to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2018. During her rotation at South Bay Sports and Preventative Medicine, Taylor also participated in providing physicals to high school athletes in the South Bay Area. She would like to further her clinical experience and expertise in sports rehabilitation and orthopedic manual therapy. Taylor is dedicated to continue learning throughout her entire career and is excited to begin her journey at SMPT.
During her free time, Taylor enjoys hanging out with her two dogs, Maple and Ja’Crispy, baking, and staying active through exercise, golf, softball and hiking. Being from the Bay Area, she is also a big sports fan of the SF Giants, SF 49’ers, SJ Sharks and GS Warriors."
